Chapter Seven: Sameer
I sat on the leather couch with Dasey, as Yazir paced back and forth angrily. We'd just gotten word that someone had intercepted our product delivery. Not only did they take all the product we had, they'd gotten ahold to some dirty cops who arrested the guy we had picking it up. Whoever did this shit knew way too much to just be an outsider. This was someone from within for sure.
“What if one of us had have been picking up that day?” Dasey shook his head.
“That shit wouldn't have happened,” Yazir said, and grabbed his gun off of his desk.
“Who knew about our shipment times and shit like that? Other than us three and Walt?” Dasey furrowed his brows.
Walt was one of our most trusted guys that we had pick up the deliveries. He'd now been arrested because they found him with five million dollars worth of cocaine. That was pretty much a life sentence, and there was no way we could let him go down like that; absolutely not.
“Damn, and Walt is going down for a while,” I shook my head.
“Nah, he's not. See, the dumb muthafuckas had him arrested, but the dirty cops let the robbers take the product. How can the officers prove anything with no product? They're fucking stupid, so I'm trying to think of who would be dumb enough to one, rob me, and two, have one of my people arrested and not take the evidence down too.” Yazir continued to pace, and we all thought in silence. He then rushed behind his desk, snatched his phone from the receiver, and dialed someone. Slamming it down, he pressed the speakerphone button and let it ring.
“Yazir, my favorite person,” Caroline answered sweetly.
“Caroline, I've been robbed, and I want you to tell me something. I'm gonna ask you—”
“I still need my cut even though the—”
“I'm gonna ask you a muthafuckin’ question, and the only answers that should be given are yes or no. I don't want any explanations, I just want a yes or no, are we clear?” Yazir cut her back off.
“Yes, we are clear.”
“Did you tell Kirk and Todd anything about what we have going on?”
“I—”
“Yes or no.”
“Yes.”
“Did you tell them when and where, or anything about the shipment times?”
“Yes, but only because they claimed I was—”
Yazir hung up on her and said, “Let's go.”
We all left out of his den and rounded the little corner. We went down to the basement, collected guns, gloves, masks, shoe covers, and anything else we might need to off them two fuck niggas.
“Dasey, call Jim and tell him to have the plane ready,” Yazir said.
“You sure you're ready?” I asked him. It'd taken us two hours to get Yazir on the plane to leave Chile, and ever since we landed he didn't wanna get on a plane ever again.
“Yeah, I'm sure. I'm too angry to be scared, bro.”
Dasey nodded and dialed Jim.
Once we had everything we needed, Yazir went to tell Nina we were flying to Vegas.
